Prince Hicham Alaoui, the cousin of Morocco’s King Mohammed VI, has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his support for Palestine in the wake of the continued Israeli attacks on Gaza. In a series of tweets posted on Monday in Arabic and French, Alaoui emphasized the resilience of the Palestinian people and drew parallels to historical struggles.
"Once again, the events of October 7 confirm the steadfastness of the Palestinian people to survive, and their fate will not be like the fate of the Native Americans," Alaoui tweeted. He praised the Palestinians for overcoming challenges with "limited capabilities and tremendous determination," highlighting their success in challenging "the policy of deterrence" and "the invincibility of the Israeli army."
Concluding his tweets, Alaoui expressed a collective sentiment, stating, "Until the Palestinians regain their legitimate rights: We are all Palestinian." The messages reflect growing international concern and solidarity with the Palestinian cause amid the recent escalation of tensions in the region.
