Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi, has accused the United States of being complicit in Israeli "crimes" following a rocket strike on a Gaza hospital complex. Raisi asserted that the world views America as an accomplice to the actions of the Zionist regime, addressing thousands gathered in central Tehran in solidarity with the Palestinians. Health authorities in Gaza reported at least 471 casualties from the hospital strike, attributing it to Israeli airstrikes.
During the Tehran rally, President Raisi called for an end to the bombing of Gaza and the lifting of the enclave's siege, warning of a "harsh revenge by the Islamic world" for the alleged crimes in Palestine and Gaza.
Raisi declared, "With the attack on the hospital, the end of the Zionist regime will start," emphasizing that each Palestinian casualty brings the regime closer to collapse. State television footage depicted thousands in Tehran waving flags of Iran, Palestine, and Hezbollah, chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans.
