In a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council, Iran's UN envoy, Amir Saeid Iravani, declared the country's commitment to employing "all available mechanisms" to hold the perpetrators accountable for the recent deadly terror attacks in Kerman. The attacks, which claimed the lives of at least 103 people and left 211 others injured near the burial site of former anti-terror commander Qassem Soleimani, were condemned as a "heinous terrorist act and an appalling crime." Iravani emphasized ongoing comprehensive investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible for what he termed a "premeditated crime." Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, announced legal measures through the United Nations to ensure accountability. While the Palestinian movement Hamas denounced the attacks, Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry expressed condolences. Global leaders from Russia, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, and others also condemned the tragic events.
