Amir-Abdollahian criticized Washington's lack of effort to halt Israel’s actions and denounced US and British attacks on Yemen as a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, fueling regional crisis. He reiterated Iran’s steadfast support for the Palestinian resistance and praised Lebanon for its support for Palestine, expressing Tehran’s commitment to promoting stability in Lebanon.
During separate meetings with Lebanese officials, including Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Amir-Abdollahian reaffirmed Iran’s efforts to end Israel’s brutality in Gaza and prevent further conflict escalation. He emphasized the Palestinians' right to their land and their plans for the post-war phase, while Mikati stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
