Yemen Condemns US and UK Airstrikes as Violation of Sovereignty

Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has strongly condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by the US and UK across multiple sites in Yemen, denouncing them as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state.

Mohammed Abdul-Salam, spokesperson for Yemen’s National Salvation Government, emphasized that these attacks undermine Yemen's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. He reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian people in Gaza and affirmed the country's right to defend itself against foreign aggression.

The joint military action by the US and UK targeted 18 sites in eight locations across Yemen and was supported by several other countries. This escalation follows Yemeni naval strikes against a US oil tanker and warships in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea, conducted in solidarity with Palestine and in response to previous airstrikes.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their operations until the Israeli aggression against Gaza ceases, reaffirming Yemen's steadfast support for Palestine's struggle against occupation.
