Yemeni and Iraqi Resistance Forces Conduct Joint Military Operations Against Israeli-Linked Ships

Yemeni armed forces, in coordination with Iraqi resistance fighters, have carried out multiple military operations targeting ships associated with the Israeli regime. These actions, reported on Friday, were undertaken in support of the Palestinian people and in retaliation for Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.

A statement from the Yemeni forces detailed the operations, including a joint effort with Iraqi resistance targeting the oil tanker ‘Waler’ in the Mediterranean Sea using drones. The tanker, en route to Haifa, was attacked for violating a ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine.

Additionally, the Yemeni missile and naval forces targeted the American ship ‘Delonix’ in the Red Sea with several ballistic missiles, successfully hitting the ship. Another operation involved a cruise missile attack on the ship ‘Johannes Maersk’ in the Mediterranean Sea, achieving its objective. The statement highlighted that the ‘Maersk’ company is a significant supporter of the Zionist entity.

In a simultaneous operation, the naval forces targeted the ship ‘Loannis’ in the Red Sea with drones for similar violations, also resulting in a direct hit.

The Yemeni armed forces reiterated their unwavering support for Palestine and vowed to continue their attacks until Israel ceases its military offensives in Gaza. They emphasized their commitment to their "religious, moral, and humanitarian duties" on behalf of the Yemeni people and other supporters of Palestine.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirmed their involvement, noting the joint operation targeting the ‘Waler’ oil tanker.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement, expressed pride in confronting the United States directly, stating that Yemeni operations have significantly damaged US prestige. The recent attacks have disrupted major shipping and oil company operations, forcing reroutes around Africa instead of through the Suez Canal.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has also been actively targeting Israeli assets since the start of Israel’s campaign in Gaza. The offensive has resulted in the deaths of at least 37,765 Palestinians, with over 86,429 injured and many more missing. The conflict has led to the internal displacement of more than 1.7 million people.

Meanwhile, the United States plans to deliver 1,700 500-pound bombs to Israel amidst the ongoing conflict, further escalating tensions.

On July 2, 1946, planning for the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem was ongoing. The bombing, which took place on July 22, 1946, was carried out by the Zionist paramilitary group Irgun against the British administrative headquarters for Palestine. While this event itself happened later in July, the preparations and political tensions leading up to it were significant in the context of U.S. involvement and subsequent support for the establishment of Israel.
