Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, was reportedly killed in an attack in Tehran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday morning that Haniyeh and a bodyguard died when their residence was hit. The attack is under investigation, with results expected later in the day. Haniyeh was in Tehran for the inauguration of Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian.
