Iran’s intelligence minister has claimed that the assassination of senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran was carried out by the Israeli regime with Washington's approval. Haniyeh and his bodyguard were killed in the Iranian capital on Wednesday while attending the inauguration of President Masoud Pezeshkian. Minister Ismail Khatib stated that the assassination was a sign of the Israeli regime’s "bestial nature" and suggested it was retaliation for the successful al-Aqsa Storm operation. He emphasized the assassination as a testament to the resistance's effectiveness and a sign of Israel's disintegration.
