Joint Call for Action: Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia Unite Against Gaza Atrocities

In a landmark meeting hosted by China's Deputy Foreign Minister Deng Li, officials from Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia jointly demanded immediate action to halt Israel's atrocities in the besieged Gaza Strip. Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani of Iran and Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji joined in expressing their opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians. The trio emphasized the importance of any future arrangements for Palestine reflecting the will of its people and supporting their right to establish a state and exercise self-determination.

The diplomats also voiced deep concern about the critical circumstances in Gaza, calling for sustainable relief for the Palestinian population. The joint statement outlined their commitment to addressing the ongoing crisis and ensuring lasting solutions for the region.

The meeting concluded with plans for the next joint committee gathering to take place in Saudi Arabia in June. Additionally, discussions included progress in diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the reopening of embassies in Riyadh and Tehran. The Iranian and Saudi diplomats expressed gratitude for China's influential role in facilitating the rapprochement between Tehran and Riyadh, reaffirming their complete dedication to implementing the Beijing Agreement.
