Yemen's Ansarullah Leader Warns of Consequences for US and Allies, Denounces Israeli Atrocities

In a televised speech from the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, on Wednesday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement in Yemen, declared that Yemen's armed forces would not hesitate to target US military warships in the Red Sea if military strikes are carried out against Yemen by Washington and its allies.

Houthi warned that cruise missiles would be fired at US military vessels if the newly formed maritime task force in the Red Sea takes hostile actions against Yemen. He urged member countries of the coalition not to compromise their security for the interests of the Israeli regime.

Denouncing the US-led maritime task force in the Red Sea, Yemen's defense minister emphasized that Yemeni forces would continue to target Israeli-owned and Israel-bound ships in support of Palestinians in Gaza, without posing a threat to other merchant vessels.

Houthi criticized the US for supporting Israel in its atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza, accusing Washington of complicity in the massacre of Palestinian children and women. He highlighted Israel's targeting of Gaza hospitals and the use of starvation as a weapon, condemning the US for providing lethal weapons and military advisors to Israel.

The Ansarullah leader also held Britain accountable for war crimes and aggression by the Israeli regime, and criticized certain European Union member states for their support of Israel. Houthi called on Muslims worldwide to assist Palestinians in their struggle for liberation, urging Arab countries to provide military and financial support and take an unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian cause.

In his remarks, Houthi reiterated Yemen's all-out support for Palestinians and condemned certain Arab regimes for serving Israeli interests, including the shooting down of Yemeni drones and missiles aimed at the occupied territories.
