Osama Hamdan, a senior official of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, emphasized that any ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip must include the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces and the lifting of the blockade imposed on the territory. Speaking at a press conference in Beirut, Hamdan condemned the ongoing aggression by Israel, stating that Hamas is open to discussions on initiatives to stop the violence. He highlighted the need for negotiations to lead to an end to what he termed as "terrorist aggression" against the Palestinian people and a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. Additionally, Hamdan underscored Hamas's demands for the lifting of the siege on Gaza, reconstruction efforts, a prisoner exchange, and international recognition of Palestinians' rights. He criticized the Israeli occupation for its continued atrocities against civilians and called for global action to stop these crimes. Hamdan also accused the United States of complicity in Israel's actions and warned against false narratives aimed at undermining Gaza's resilience. He expressed confidence in the eventual victory of the Palestinian people over Israeli aggression.
