Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei Reaffirms Iran's Support for Palestine in Ongoing Gaza Conflict

During a meeting with a delegation from the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, led by Ismail Haniyeh, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, reiterated Iran's unwavering commitment to supporting Palestine and the enduring resilience of the people of Gaza against Israeli aggression.

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized Iran's steadfast policy of backing the Palestinian cause and standing in solidarity with the oppressed populace of Gaza. He praised the remarkable patience exhibited by the people of Gaza in the face of relentless Israeli attacks, noting that their resilience has elevated the Palestinian issue to a global forefront, despite efforts by adversaries to suppress it.

The Leader also honored Saleh al-Arouri, a Hamas political bureau member assassinated in a drone strike in Beirut, attributing the attack to the Israeli regime.

In response, Haniyeh expressed gratitude to Iran for its consistent support for Palestine and the Gaza Strip throughout the ongoing conflict. He provided updates on the current political developments and ground situation in Gaza, highlighting the failure of Israel to achieve its objectives due to the steadfastness of Palestinian resistance groups and the local population.

Haniyeh's visit to Tehran coincided with the United Nations Security Council's adoption of a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. He described the resolution as a testament to the unprecedented isolation faced by the Israeli regime on the international stage.

The meeting underscored Iran's commitment to standing by Palestine and its determination to continue supporting the Palestinian cause amid ongoing challenges and conflicts in the region.
