Nasrallah Condemns Efforts to Separate Hezbollah’s Actions from Gaza Conflict

In a recent televised speech at a funeral for fallen Hezbollah fighters, Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah criticized attempts to separate the Lebanese resistance group's strikes against Israeli military positions from the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Nasrallah emphasized that Hezbollah's retaliatory strikes have significantly impacted the Israeli regime, causing material, moral, and psychological losses. He argued that the effectiveness of these strikes is evident from the intense reactions and threats from Israeli authorities and settlers.

He condemned the narrative suggesting that Hezbollah's actions are unrelated to the situation in Gaza, questioning why international parties are trying to disconnect the Lebanese front from the conflict if it were ineffective. Nasrallah paid tribute to high-ranking Hezbollah field commander Sami Abdallah, also known as Abu Taleb, who was killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon last week.

Highlighting Hezbollah’s psychological warfare tactics, Nasrallah mentioned the release of surveillance footage showing strategic locations in Haifa, asserting that the group possesses extensive surveillance capabilities. He also criticized Israel for not disclosing the true extent of its casualties in Gaza and downplaying losses from Hezbollah attacks.

Nasrallah dismissed Israeli military claims of validated plans for an offensive in Lebanon, warning that Hezbollah remains prepared for a potential invasion of the Galilee region. He praised the maritime operations of Yemeni naval units, noting that the U.S. and U.K. have failed to halt these attacks despite their intelligence efforts.

Hezbollah's arsenal, including advanced weapons and combat drones, was also discussed, with Nasrallah asserting the group's preparedness for extensive conflict. He warned that no area in Israeli-occupied territories would be safe from Hezbollah's rockets in the event of a full-scale war.

In his speech, Nasrallah also issued a stern warning to Cyprus, cautioning against allowing Israeli use of its airports and bases, as this would make Cyprus a participant in the conflict.

Nasrallah concluded by asserting Hezbollah's readiness to confront any threats from Israel, emphasizing that the group's fighters are prepared for the most challenging battles.
